I have been programming for fun since 1982 and turned this passion into
a full time job in early 1995. Since then, I have been working in start-ups and consulting for major firms and institutions
worldwide. I am a generalizing specialist with a focus on Java and Erlang middleware development. This said, I am not prisoner of any platform or language. My values are spelled out in the IEEE Code of Ethics, the Manifesto for Software Craftsmanship and the Manifesto for Agile Software Development. I love open source. I take a lot from the community so I try to give a little back. This is why I lead several open source projects: the JCR and Erlang transports for Mule, NxBRE, JBound, Corian and jinFORM. This is also why I am a member of Mule's Community Committee. I really enjoy writing and am a lucky author for Manning Publications. I have also been a contributing author for O'Reilly, an occasional writer for Dr. Dobb's Journal and late Software Development Magazine. Finally, I am truly honoured to serve as an official judge for the DDJ's Jolt Product Excellence Awards. |
